Interior Minister orders FIA to take measures to curb corruption, smuggling

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has stressed the Federal Investigation Agency to take effective measures to check corruption, smuggling and play its role in eliminating the menace of spurious drugs and electricity theft.

Chairing a meeting at the FIA headquarters in Islamabad today, he human smuggling is another high priority area, which needs agency’s attention to prevent this scourge.

The Minister also sought report of the action taken regarding the Greece boat incident.

Mohsin Naqvi also directed to evolve a comprehensive plan to prevent smuggling dollar from the country. He said departing from the country on fake documents should also be stopped.
