Interior Minister, Saudi Envoy discuss progress on ‘Road to Makkah’ project

Islamabad, May 05, 2023 (PPI-OT): Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki called on Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan in Islamabad on Friday. They discussed matters pertaining to bilateral relations and mutual interest. The meeting reviewed the progress made on agreement over the project “Road to Makkah”.

They agreed to finalize the agreement and make it fully functional.

Under this project, pilgrims will be provided easy and hassle-free immigration facilities. Forty thousand Hujjaj will be facilitated under the agreement. On the occasion, the Saudi ambassador assured the Minister to make all possible efforts for the early release of Pakistanis imprisoned in Saudi jails.
