Interior Minister terms visit of Iranian President as quite significant

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held a detailed meeting with his visiting Iranian counterpart Ahmad Vahidi and Minister for Law Amin Hossein Rahimi in Islamabad today.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on security cooperation, terrorism, smuggling, border management, prisoners’ swap and facilities of Pakistani pilgrims.

Speaking on the occasion, the Interior Minister termed the visit of the Iranian President as quite significant in view of Pak-Iran bilateral relations.

He said the entire Pakistani nation warmly welcomes the Iranian President and delegation at their arrival in Pakistan.
