Islamabad: International Day of Play was observed on Thursday. This year’s theme, “Protect Play, Protect Childhood,” underscores the critical need to safeguard children’s right to play.

According to Radio Pakistan, the day aims to promote, preserve, and prioritize play. It plays a vital role in enabling children to develop essential cognitive, physical, creative, social, and emotional skills, thereby helping them grow and reach their full potential.
