Karachi: Enclosed please find a copy of the Notice to be published in newspapers in respect of election of Directors under Section 178 (4) of the Companies Ordinance, 1984.

Notice under Section 178 (4) of the Companies Ordinance, 1984 Election of Directors

Members of Invest and Finance Securities Limited (‘the Company’), pursuant to Section 178 (4) of the Companies Ordinance., 1984 (‘the Ordinance’), are hereby notified that the following parsons have filed with the Company notices, under Section 178 (3) of the Ordinance, of their Intention to offer themselves to contest for election of Directors of the Company, in the forthcoming Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company, scheduled to be held on Monday, March 26, 2012:

1. Mr. Muhammad Sohail Dayala
2. Mrs. Halima Dayala
3. Syed Kaleem Akhtar
4. Mr. Ahmad Zakir Hafeez
5. Mr. Muhammad Awais
6. Mr. Shakeel Ahmed
7. Syed Rashid Ali

Since the number of persons who have offered themselves, under Section 178 (3) of the Ordinance, to be elected is not more than the numbers as fixed by the Board of Directors of the Company under Section 178 (1) of the Ordinance, i.e. seven: the above named persons shall be deemed to be elected at the forthcoming Extraordinary General Meeting.
