IPAK Group Sees 61% Surge in Revenue Amid Expansion Efforts

Karachi: International Packaging Films Limited (IPAK) Group has reported a significant revenue increase of 61% for the six months ending December 31, 2024. The group’s consolidated revenue reached Rs 16.25 billion, up from Rs 10.08 billion in the same period last year.

According to a statement by International Packaging Films Limited, the consolidated profit before tax for the period was Rs 464.67 million, with a net profit attributed to the owners of the holding company at Rs 567.63 million. The earnings per share for the six months were reported at 0.81.

The revenue growth was largely driven by the introduction of new capacities, including a new product line and expansion into export markets. Exports contributed USD 12 million during this period.

The gross margins showed improvement over the previous quarter, indicating growth and increased financial stability. The group achieved a total EBITDA of Rs 2,250 million for the half year, reflecting strong cash flow and earnings potential.

Both major expansion projects of the group are now fully operational, with management focused on maximizing capacity utilization to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.

Despite facing macroeconomic challenges, IPAK Group managed to sustain growth and maintain margins, outperforming the overall flexible packaging sector.

The group offers a comprehensive portfolio of packaging solutions, producing BOPP, CPP, and BOPET films. It is the first group in Pakistan to provide one-window flexible packaging solutions, with facilities located at two key locations in the country.
