Islamabad: Pakistan and Iran are poised to deepen their bilateral relations with a focus on trade and energy cooperation, according to discussions held between Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, the Speaker of Pakistan’s National Assembly, and Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri-Moghaddam. According to a statement by National Assembly of Pakistan, Speaker Sadiq highlighted the foundational relationship between Islamabad and Tehran, rooted in shared Islamic values and strong people-to-people connections.
