Iranian Ambassador Offers Condolences to Pakistani Minister on Family Bereavement

Islamabad: A delegation from the Iranian Embassy, led by Ambassador Dr. Reza Amiri-Moghaddam, visited Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada, Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Housing and Works, to express condolences following the death of his younger brother. The meeting took place at the Ministry of Housing and Works in Islamabad.

According to Press Information Department, the Ambassador conveyed messages of grief and condolences from the leadership, government, and citizens of Iran. He expressed sympathies for the minister’s family and offered prayers for the deceased. The Ambassador also emphasized the deep love and respect Iranians hold for their Pakistani counterparts. Minister Pirzada expressed gratitude for Iran’s support during this difficult time and highlighted the strong, fraternal ties between Pakistan and Iran, rooted in shared religious, historical, ethnic, and cultural bonds.

Minister Pirzada reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Iran. He emphasized the importance of frequent exchanges in education, agriculture, and energy sectors. Both parties concurred that enhancing economic cooperation and trade is essential for fortifying bilateral ties.
