Karachi: The Consul General of China in Karachi, Yang Yundong, stated that the strategic cooperation between China and Pakistan will continue to deepen, guided by Chinese President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. This announcement underscores the enduring all-weather partnership between the two nations.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Yang highlighted during a media briefing at the Chinese Consulate in Karachi that the recent visit by Chinese Premier Li Qiang to Pakistan, following Prime Minister Shehbaz’s visit to Beijing, serves as a testament to the robust high-level cooperation between the countries. The Consul General affirmed that the relationship between Pakistan and China remains a priority in China’s foreign policy. He also emphasized that any attempts to disrupt or undermine this cooperation would be countered.
