Iranian President Arrives at PM House, Islamabad for Formal Welcome

Islamabad: A formal welcome ceremony was hosted in honour of Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian at the Prime Minister House, Islamabad today. On arrival, he was warmly received by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

According to Radio Pakistan, the national anthems of both countries were played on the occasion, and the dignitary was presented with a ceremonial guard of honor. The Iranian President also planted a commemorative sapling in the garden of the PM House.

Later, the Prime Minister introduced the honourable guest to the members of the federal cabinet, and they exchanged cordialities, marking the significance of the visit.
