Iran’s Interior Minister Visits Islamabad Police Lines

Islamabad: Interior Minister of Iran, Eskandar Momeni, along with Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry, visited the Police Lines in Islamabad today.

According to Radio Pakistan, upon arrival, the Iranian Interior Minister was warmly welcomed at the parade ground, where a special contingent of the Islamabad Police presented a guard of honour to the visiting dignitary. The Iranian Interior Minister, accompanied by Talal Chaudhry, inspected the parade, and the national anthems of Pakistan and Iran were played to mark the occasion.

In his remarks, Eskandar Momeni expressed appreciation for the professionalism of the Islamabad Police personnel. He also took the opportunity to distribute prizes among the police personnel in recognition of their performance. The event was attended by Inspector General Islamabad Police Ali Nasir Rizvi and other senior police officers.
