Islamabad Police Apprehend Six Outlaws, Recover Weapons and Drugs.

Islamabad: Islamabad Police have successfully apprehended six outlaws involved in criminal activities such as drug peddling and possession of illegal weapons. Police teams have also recovered liquor and weapons, including ammunition, from the suspects’ possession, as stated by a public relations officer.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the Shalimar, Golra, Khanna, and Sihala police stations conducted operations leading to the arrest of four individuals: Tasawar Mahmood, David, Israr, and Waqar. The police seized a 30 bore pistol, a 12 bore rifle with ammunition, and five bottles of liquor during these operations.

In addition to these arrests, two absconders were detained from different areas of the city in the past 24 hours.

The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Islamabad highlighted that the police are actively working to ensure the safety of citizens’ lives and properties in the federal capital. He emphasized that no elements will be allowed to disrupt the peace of the citizens, and protecting their lives, property, and dignity remains the top priority for the Islamabad Police.

Citizens are encouraged to report any suspicious activities to their nearest police station or the emergency helpline “Pukar-15” to assist in making the city crime-free through collaboration between the police and the public.
