New york: United Nations Secretary-General Ant³nio Guterres has declared that all Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank lack legal validity and violate international law and relevant UN resolutions.
According to Radio Pakistan, UN spokesperson St©phane Dujarric disclosed during the daily press briefing that Ant³nio Guterres expressed deep concern over Israeli authorities’ decision to grant “city” status to an Israeli settlement in the occupied West Bank.
The UN Secretary-General emphasized that these settlements are a significant barrier to achieving a two-state solution and establishing lasting peace in the region.
In related developments, three Palestinians were martyred and seventeen others injured in recent Israeli drone attacks targeting multiple areas across the Gaza Strip.
