Islamabad: Minister of State for Information Technology Shaza Fatima Khawaja has asserted that the IT sector is significantly contributing to the nation’s progress. Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad, she highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts to maintain resilience against the threat of climate change.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Shaza Fatima Khawaja elaborated on the ongoing digitization initiatives in the country. She noted that the government plans to introduce digitization in the agriculture sector, aiming to develop precise strategies and make informed decisions.

Furthermore, Shaza Fatima Khawaja announced that the government is planning to launch a “Smart Phone for All” policy soon. This initiative aims to make smartphones affordable for every individual through easy installment plans, thereby promoting digital inclusion across the country.
