ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar today held a meeting with the Foreign Minister of Iran Seyed Abbas Araghchi at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The meeting focused on reinforcing the longstanding relationship between the two nations, with both ministers expressing a keen interest in boosting trade, energy cooperation, and improving border management.

According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the discussions highlighted a mutual commitment to enhancing trade, investment, and people-to-people contacts. The Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister emphasized Pakistan’s desire to deepen bilateral dialogue to explore opportunities for regional connectivity, a sentiment that was reciprocated by the Iranian Foreign Minister.
