JAHAHIR SIDDIQUI and CO. LTD. ANNOUNCES UPCOMING BOARD MEETING AND CLOSED PERIOD

Karachi: Jahangir Siddiqui and Co. Ltd. has scheduled a board meeting for October 29, 2024, to discuss and approve the unaudited financial statements for the nine-month period ending September 30, 2024. The meeting will take place at Karachi.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company has also announced a “Closed Period” from October 23 to October 29, 2024. During this time, no director, CEO, or executive shall directly or indirectly deal in the shares of the company. This measure is in accordance with Clause 5.6.4 of PSX Regulations, which is designed to prevent insider trading around key financial announcements.

The upcoming board meeting is critical as it will provide stakeholders with insights into the company’s financial health and strategic direction amid challenging economic conditions. The Closed Period is a standard practice meant to ensure transparency and fairness in the handling of potentially market-sensitive information.
