Jam Kamal Khan Arrives in Phnom Penh for Key Trade Talks

Phnom Penh: The Minister for Commerce, Jam Kamal Khan, has arrived in Phnom Penh for a three-day official visit aimed at enhancing trade relations between Pakistan and Cambodia. The visit marks the commencement of the inaugural Joint Trade Committee and Ministerial Meeting, a significant step in bolstering economic cooperation between the two countries.

According to a statement by Press Information Department, Minister Khan was welcomed by Pakistan’s Ambassador to Cambodia, H.E. Zaheer Uddin Baber Thaheem, and H.E. Mr. Tith Rithipol, Undersecretary of State from the Cambodian Ministry of Commerce. The agenda for the meetings includes discussions on trade facilitation, investment opportunities, and market access, with an emphasis on exploring new economic avenues.

The visit is seen as a pivotal moment in the bilateral relations of Pakistan and Cambodia, as both nations seek to deepen their economic ties. The discussions are expected to lead to further agreements that will strengthen economic engagement and benefit both countries.
