Jamia Turbat Celebrates Faculty Member’s International Research Recognition

Turbat: The Vice Chancellor of Jamia Turbat, Prof. Dr. John Muhammad, has praised the university’s faculty for their growing contributions to higher education and research, both nationally and internationally. His comments came during a ceremony honoring Dr. Fida Ahmed, a faculty member in the Department of Management Sciences, who recently completed his doctorate at the University of Glasgow, Scotland.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Dr. Fida, who hails from Pushkan District in Gwadar, co-authored a research paper with Professor Christian Harrison of Bolton, UK. Their paper won the Best Paper Award in the Leadership and Leadership Development Track at the British Academy of Management Conference 2024, held at Nottingham Trent University in September.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Muhammad congratulated Dr. Fida on his achievement, highlighting it as a significant milestone for both the scholar and Jamia Turbat.
