Japan vows to strengthen economic relations with Pakistan

Islamabad, May 10, 2018 (PPI-OT):Japan says it will continue to work with Pakistan to strengthen bilateral economic relations. Talking to Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq in Islamabad on Wednesday, Japanese Ambassador Takashi Kurai said the bilateral trade and economic relations need to be diversified. The Ambassador said Pakistan is an important pillar in Japan’s outreach towards South Asia. He appreciated Pakistan sacrifices in fight against terrorism saying Pakistan has rendered sacrifices for making the world safe.

Speaking on the occasion, the Speaker stressed the need for regular exchanges of parliamentary delegations for facilitating all-encompassing robust bilateral relations. Emphasizing the role of Parliamentary diplomacy, the Speaker said the Parliamentary Friendship Group between Pakistan and Japan at National Assembly of Pakistan exhibits the notion of commitment to strong bilateral relations between both the countries.
