Bishkek, In response to escalating mob violence in Bishkek, the Pakistani Embassy has issued a directive advising Pakistani students to remain indoors. The violence, which has erupted around student hostels in the capital, has raised serious concerns about the safety of international students.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ambassador Hasan Zaigham confirmed that the embassy is actively working with Kyrgyz law enforcement to protect Pakistani nationals during this turbulent period. The embassy’s communication lines remain open as they coordinate safety measures closely with local authorities.

In addition, the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs has set up a Crisis Management Unit following directives from Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar. This unit is designed to assist and provide guidance to Pakistani nationals and their families during the crisis. Those in need of assistance can reach the unit via two dedicated phone numbers and an email address provided by the embassy.

The embassy has also publicized several emergency contact numbers to ensure that Pakistani nationals can quickly reach out for help or information as the situation in Bishkek continues to develop.
