UNESCO Vows to Support Pakistan in Preserving Heritage, Culture

Islamabad: UNESCO has expressed commitment to supporting Pakistan in preserving its heritage and culture. The commitment was expressed by UNESCO Representative in Pakistan Fuad Pashayev at a meeting with Minister for National Heritage and Culture Aurangzeb Khan Khichi in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, Fuad Pashayev appreciated Pakistan’s efforts to pursue joint and multinational nominations for inscription on UNESCO’s heritage lists, including cultural elements such as Rubab and Sitar.
