Jammu, January 25, 2016 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement (JKPM) has supported the call given by APHC (G) Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani and other leaders to observe January 26, the Republic Day as Black Day. Hurriyet leader and Acting Chairman of JKPM Mir Shahid Saleem in a statement issued in Jammu said that the Indian Republic Day was a meaningless event for the oppressed people of Kashmir.
“We have seen the most cruel and dreadful face of Indian democracy in Kashmir”, he added. He said that people of Kashmir continued to live under Indian military rule in Kashmir with all their fundamental rights being suspended.
