JUI-F Chief will have to answer for his assets: Ali Amin

Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Ali Amin Gandapur says JUI-F Chief Maulana Falzur Rehman will have to answer for his assets.

He was addressing a news conference along with Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda in Islamabad on Monday.

Ali Amin Gandapur said Maulana Fazlur Rehman has mentioned value of his six bungalows spreading over forty kanals of land in Dera Ismail Khan 2.5 million rupees in the documents submitted to the Election Commission of Pakistan. He said the actual price of these properties is over 300 million rupees. Similarly, he said there are two other bungalows of Maulana Fazlur Rehman, and their value has been given in documents 1.5 million rupees, which too is false.

The Minister said the NAB should conduct inquiry into the assets of Maulana Fazlur Rehman and hold him accountable.

He said Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s indecent language against national institutions is condemnable. He said no one will be allowed to blackmail institutions.

Speaking on the occasion, Faisal Vawda said Maulana Fazlur Rehman is misleading the seminary students and using them for his personal gains. He said the government will not allow anyone to use religion for vested interests.

Faisal Vawda said people should take care of their lives during Covid-19 and avoid attending public gatherings of the PDM.
