Junaid Announces Up to 50% Storage Charge Relief at KPT

Karachi: Minister for Maritime Affairs, Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry has announced storage charge waivers ranging from 25 to 50 per cent at Karachi Port Trust terminals to facilitate exporters. In a statement, the Minister highlighted the importance of a more facilitative approach by maritime institutions to prevent operational delays from resulting in additional costs for stakeholders.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister emphasized the need for improved coordination among ports and terminals. This initiative aims to ensure smoother logistics and better service delivery, ultimately benefiting the trade community and enhancing the efficiency of port operations.
