Karachi Halts Petrol Supply for Grade 17 Government Vehicles to Curb Expenses

KARACHI: The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation has announced the suspension of petrol supply for government vehicles used by grade 17 officers and officers awaiting posting within the organization. A committee has been established to verify the field officers of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, and further decisions will be guided by the committee’s findings.

According to Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, the heads of departments have been instructed to maintain contact with the committee. This measure aims to enhance the administrative functioning of the organization by cutting down on fuel expenses, resulting in significant monthly savings.
