Exhibition Highlights Rare Quranic Manuscripts and Islamic Artifacts in Islamabad

Islamabad: A private museum in Pakistan’s capital, Islamabad, is drawing attention with its unique collection of rare Quranic manuscripts, Islamic calligraphy, and historical artifacts. Abdul Aleem Khan, President of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party and Federal Minister for Privatization, Board of Investment, and Communications, recently visited the museum, named “Sobia Mahal,” and commended its efforts to preserve Islamic civilization’s heritage.

According to Press Information Department, the museum’s collection, established without government support, offers a glimpse into the history of Islam and is curated by renowned educationist and historian Zahid Pervaiz Butt. During his visit, Abdul Aleem Khan praised the initiative for educating the younger generation about their cultural and religious roots, highlighting the importance of preserving such artifacts. He expressed hope that more centers like Sobia Mahal would be established to foster religious and historical awareness. Zahid Pervaiz Butt, the museum’s Executive Director, expressed gratitude for the minister’s visit, noting that the museum is a family legacy intended to inform the public about Pakistan’s rich history.
