Karachi: The 12th edition of the International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS 2024) is scheduled to take place at the Karachi Expo Center from November 19 to 22. This major event is organized by the Defence Export Promotion Organization under the auspices of the Ministry of Defence and Defence Production.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, IDEAS 2024 aims to showcase Pakistan’s defense capabilities on an international stage, promoting the country’s defense industry to a global audience. The biennial event has become a pivotal platform for defense exhibitors, government officials, diplomats, security analysts, traders, and media representatives.
The exhibition will feature an array of locally manufactured defense equipment, as well as technologies and products from major global defense companies. This diverse display is designed to highlight advancements in defense technology and foster business opportunities within the sector.
IDEAS 2024 is expected to attract high-level participants, including presidents of Chambers of Commerce and Industry and high-level policymakers, reflecting its importance in the defense sector’s calendar. The event not only serves as a showcase for defense products but also as a forum for international defense dialogue.
The Defence Export Promotion Organization, in coordination with the Ministry of Defence and Defence Production, aims to use this event to further elevate Pakistan’s status in the global defense market, emphasizing the nation’s commitment to enhancing its defense production and export capabilities.
