Karakoram Highway b/w Rawalpindi-Gilgit restored for one-way traffic

The Karakoram Highway between Rawalpindi and Gilgit has been restored for one-way traffic.

It was blocked by landslides in Raikot, Sumer Nallah and other points due to landslides.

The workers of Frontier Works Organization also restored traffic between Gilgit-Skardu removing landslides debris from Shahre-Baltistan.

The road was blocked due to landslides at Dhee near Zero point in Khunjerab.

Our Gilgit correspondent Sher Muhammad reports that Naran to Babusar road was also restored for traffic.
