Kashmir Festival in Budapest Showcases Regional Culture

Budapest: A three-day festival celebrating Kashmiri culture took place in Budapest, featuring traditional music, dance, and art. The event, hosted in Hungary’s capital, highlighted the rich cultural heritage of Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the festival was spearheaded by Raja Zahid and Raja Jameel, noted figures from Kotli, Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The venue was adorned with the flags of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan, setting a vibrant backdrop for the festival’s events.

Attendees included locals as well as members of the Kashmiri and Pakistani communities. The festival offered various activities, such as a popular mehndi stall and entertainment for children, which included swings and other fun activities, creating a joyful atmosphere for all age groups.

The organizers, Raja Zahid and Raja Jameel, expressed their intention to promote Kashmiri culture globally and confirmed their plans to organize similar events in the future.
