Kashmiris being punished for seeking basic right: Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement

Islamabad, December 08, 2020 (PPI-OT): Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement (JKMM) Vice Chairman Abdul Majeed Mir has said that the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir are being punished for demanding their right to self-determination.

Abdul Majeed Mir in a statement issued in Islamabad said that India had deprived Kashmiri Muslims of their basic human right self determination. He said that the Indian occupational army has now started evicting people from their homes from different areas including Jammu, Budgam and Pahalgam. He said that India has held Kashmiris hostage at gunpoint.

Abdul Majeed Mir said that Kashmiri Muslims have been under constant siege since the abrogation of the special status of occupied Jammu and Kashmir in August, last year. He said that Muslims of Kashmir are always targeted by RSS and Narendra Modi’s fascist government while Hindu extremist organization RSS is engaged in ethnic cleansing of Indian Muslims and genocide of Muslims in occupied Kashmir.
