Kashmiris Won’t Accept Indian Act of Separating Jammu from Kashmir: Analyst

Islamabad: Kashmiris have never accepted any Indian bid to divide Kashmir and will never accept any such bid in future too. Not a single Kashmiri has ever accepted Indian decision of revoking Kashmir’s special status so far. Moreover, United Nations’ resolutions also bar India from dividing Kashmir therefore India can’t separate Jammu from rest of Kashmir. Indian constitution also describes whole of Kashmir as a disputed area which will be resolved as per wishes of the Kashmiris. Indian leadership often tries to create mess for its own people and Kashmiris by issuing such irrational and unconstitutional statements. Whole world knows that Kashmiris people don’t accept any of Indian decision despite the fact that around one million Indian troops are present in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. If India commits any act of division of Kashmir, Kashmiris will take to streets in IIOJK and world over to stage protest against any such act. tehsaal-e-Kashmir on August 5 and whole world has accepted Pakistan’s and Kashmiris’ stance. Pakistani successful diplomacy has defeated India on every international forum therefore Indian act of division of Kashmir will be harmful for India.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Kashmiris’ rejection of India’s attempts to alter the region’s status has been a consistent stance. The international community is aware of the strong opposition from the Kashmiri people, despite the presence of a significant number of Indian troops in the region. The issue of Kashmir remains unresolved, and any further attempts to separate Jammu from Kashmir could lead to widespread protests both locally and globally. The narrative presented by Kashmiris and Pakistanis on August 5, during Youm-e-Istehsaal-e-Kashmir, has gained international recognition. Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts have been acknowledged for countering India’s actions on global platforms, suggesting that any divisive actions by India could backfire.
