Khyber Pakhtunkhwa minister for early complication of developmental schemes

Peshawar, March 10, 2014 (PPI-OT): The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Agriculture and Information Technology, Shahram Khan Tarakai has directed the officers of Agriculture Department for early complication of developmental schemes and making better planning for the new Annual Development Programme (ADP). He categorically stated that no lethargy and substandard material would be borne.

This he said while presiding over a review meeting of the ADP schemes 2013-14 of Agriculture Department. Additional Secretary Agriculture, Humayun Khan, Special Secretary Usman Yaqoob, Chief Planning Officer Ahmad Saeed, concerned officers of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries departments were also present on the occasion.

The meeting reviewed in detail acting upon the decision of previous meeting, the pace of work on ongoing developmental schemes, expenditures and PC-I of different projects and the facilities being provided to farmers.

The Minister directed the concerned authorities for early preparation of PC-I for different schemes of agriculture, research and extension, water management, agricultural engineering, fisheries and livestock departments. Shahram Tarakai asked the concerned officers to convert electric tubewells into solar system so that the problem of the small farmers could be solved and agricultural land could be provided water.
