The one-week tenor showed a bid rate of 10.80 and an offer rate of 11.30. The two-week and one-month tenors both recorded a bid of 10.79 and an offer of 11.29. Meanwhile, the three-month tenor reflected a bid of 10.80 and an offer of 11.05.
For longer tenors, the six-month period showed a bid rate of 10.81 and an offer of 11.06. The nine-month tenor matched the two-week and one-month tenors with a bid of 10.79 and an offer of 11.29. The one-year tenor had a bid of 10.81 and an offer rate reaching 11.31.
These rates are crucial for banks and financial institutions in determining the cost of lending to each other, which in turn influences the broader financial market. The State Bank of Pakistan continues to monitor these rates as part of its monetary policy strategy.
