KIBOR Rates Steady as Financial Market Observes Stability

Karachi: The State Bank of Pakistan released data indicating minimal fluctuations in the Karachi Interbank Offered Rates (KIBOR) across various tenors. The rates, published on October 9, 2025, suggest relative stability in the financial market.

The KIBOR for a one-week tenor stood at a bid of 10.79 and an offer of 11.29. The two-week tenor showed a bid rate of 10.86 and an offer rate of 11.36. The one-month tenor recorded a bid of 10.89 and an offer of 11.39.

In the three-month category, the bid was 10.91 with an offer of 11.16, while the six-month tenor had a bid of 10.92 and an offer of 11.17. The nine-month tenor recorded a bid of 10.86 and an offer of 11.36.

For the one-year term, KIBOR rates were noted at a bid of 10.88 and an offer of 11.38. The data indicates a consistent rate pattern across different tenors, reflecting a stable financial environment.

The State Bank of Pakistan continues to monitor these rates closely, as they play a crucial role in determining the lending rates in the banking sector.
