KP Governor pledges to restore peace in province

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has pledged to restore peace in the province.

Speaking at Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry today, he emphasized that the challenges the province is facing the due to past decisions, particularly the settlement of Afghan militants, which severely disrupted peace in the region.

The Governor called for an urgent meeting of apex committee to address these concerns.

Faisal Karim Kundi also acknowledged the sacrifices made by leaders of other political parties, including Maulana Fazlur Rahman to strengthen democracy in Pakistan.

He reaffirmed Pakistan People’s Party has consistently showed tolerance in politics and has avoided engaging in backbiting.
