KP Govt Allocates Over Rs328b for Promotion of Education

Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has allocated more than three hundred and twenty-eight billion rupees for the next fiscal year to promote quality education in the province.

According to Radio Pakistan, Provincial Minister for Education Faisal Khan Tarakai presided over a meeting of the Annual Development Program in Peshawar. During the meeting, he announced plans to upgrade one hundred and fifty schools from primary to middle, middle to high, and high to higher education levels.

Furthermore, the government intends to establish one hundred primary schools across the province. This initiative aims to provide quality education to children at their doorstep, enhancing educational opportunities within the region.
