KP Govt and UNICEF Collaborate to Achieve Sustainable Development Goals in Province

Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with UNICEF to achieve sustainable development goals in the province. The MoU was signed at a ceremony held at the Provincial Assembly, Peshawar.

According to Radio Pakistan, the agreement entails a joint effort by UNICEF and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly to promote child education, health, gender equality, and youth engagement. The collaboration will also provide technical support to the provincial government in policy-making.

Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Babar Saleem Swati, speaking at the event, expressed that this agreement will enhance cooperation in protecting child rights, education, health, and other social sectors in the province.
