IAEA Praises Pakistan’s Progress in Nuclear Programme

Vienna: The International Atomic Energy Agency has recognized Pakistan’s steady progress in developing its civil nuclear technology capabilities.

According to Radio Pakistan, in a social media message following his meeting with the Chairman of the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission, Dr. Ali Raza Anwar, on the sidelines of the 69th IAEA General Conference in Vienna, Director General of IAEA, Rafael Mariano Grossi, appreciated Pakistan’s close cooperation with the Agency.

Earlier, during the meeting, the IAEA Director General and PAEC Chairman reviewed areas of cooperation under various initiatives of the Agency.

On the occasion, the PAEC Chairman reiterated Pakistan’s resolve to continue working with the IAEA and Member States in advancing peaceful nuclear cooperation, sustainable development, and improved quality of life for people across the region.
