KP Govt decides to extend provision of free solar systems to deserving families

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to extend the provision of free solar systems to one-hundred and thirty-thousand deserving families of the province.

The announcement was made by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur after launching the model design and online application of the solarization scheme.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that additional thirty-thousand deserving families of merged districts have been added to facilitate them under the project.

Ali Amin Gandapur said feeders with power losses, backward and hottest areas will be prioritized in the solarization scheme.

The solar systems will be given as a complete package which will include solar panels along with wiring, stand for panels, inverter, fan and bulbs.
