KP govt planned to construct 10 hydropower stations

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has completed the feasibility report for the construction of ten hydropower stations in Chitral and Upper Dir districts.

A spokesman of Energy Department Khyber Pakthunkhwa told our Peshawar correspondent that these power stations will be constructed on Chitral and Panjkora Rivers.

Negotiations are underway with different companies for the construction of these hydropower stations.

The spokesman said the power stations on completion will generate one thousand and seven hundred megawatt electricity.
