KP Govt Sets Up Emergency Flood Cell

Peshawar: An emergency flood cell has also been established to ensure swift coordination and timely response during the monsoon season.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM’s Spokesperson Faraz Ahmed Mughal advised the public to report any flood-related emergencies or request assistance by contacting the dedicated helpline numbers: 0340 9418852 and 1177.

He urged citizens to stay away from riverbanks, streams, and low-lying areas, and to follow all instructions issued by local authorities. Travelers are strongly advised to check the regional weather conditions before planning any trips during the monsoon season.
