KSrelief to Build 1000 Permanent Houses in KP, Punjab for Flood-Affected Families

Islamabad: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has committed to constructing 1,000 permanent homes in the provinces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Punjab, targeting families who were devastated by the floods in 2022.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, this initiative is part of a series of efforts by KSrelief to assist in rebuilding communities and enhancing resilience in Pakistan. The houses, designed to accommodate around 7,000 people, will include two rooms, a kitchen, and a washroom.

Construction will be distributed between several districts, with 490 homes set to rise in Dera Ismail Khan, while 410 will be built in the districts of Rajanpur and Dera Ghazi Khan. This development aims to provide durable and secure living conditions for the flood-impacted populations in these areas.
