Kundi underscores for strengthen federation for Pakistan’s progress

Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi has underscored the importance of strengthening the federation for Pakistan’s progress.

Speaking to the media in Lahore today, he highlighted the need for enhanced cooperation between the federal government and the provinces.

Governor pointed out that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is Pakistan’s leading oil-producing province, contributing 50,000 barrels out of the country’s total 90,000 barrels of oil production.

He stressed that for Pakistan to advance, it is essential to reform the tax system and broaden the tax net.

In terms of economic strategy, the Governor advocated for increased trade with the Central Asian Republics, recognizing the business community’s vital role in the nation’s economy.
