Landmine Blast Injures Army Havildar and Two Porters in Poonch, Jammu

Jammu: A landmine explosion in the Poonch district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir injured an Indian Army Havildar and two porters yesterday near the Tekri post in the Mandi area.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the incident occurred when one of the porters accidentally stepped on a landmine while they were moving near the army post. The blast resulted in injuries to all three individuals Havildar Inderjeet Singh, and porters Shakeel Hussain and Neeraj Choudhary. They were promptly transported to an army hospital in Poonch for medical treatment.

In a separate incident in the Poonch district, a retired Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI), Muhammad Sadiq, aged 65, was killed in a clash involving a group dispute over land in the Baira area of Faizlabad Surankote.
