Lasting Peace in Colombia Requires Inclusive Dialogue Says Pakistani Envoy

New York: Pakistan has emphasized that achieving lasting peace in Colombia necessitates inclusive dialogue, development, and justice. Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, delivered this statement during a UN Security Council briefing focused on Colombia.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ambassador Ahmad urged all relevant parties to remain committed to the comprehensive implementation of the Peace Agreement. His statement underscores Pakistan’s support for a holistic approach to peacebuilding in Colombia, highlighting the significance of inclusive dialogue as a means to address longstanding issues in the region.
