Punjab CM Reviews Progress on Healthcare Projects

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif presided over a meeting in Lahore today to review progress on healthcare projects in the province.

According to Radio Pakistan, it was decided to establish a separate Monitoring, Reporting and Evaluation Department to ensure better oversight. The meeting also approved the introduction of a comprehensive digital referral system in primary and secondary healthcare to improve patient care and coordination.

Approval was granted to purchase modern vehicles for the Clinic on Wheels initiative, with the number of mobile clinics expected to rise to 544 by the end of May.
