A delegation comprising representatives from various Bar councils of Pakistan called upon Minister for Law and Justice Ahmad Irfan Aslam in Islamabad.
The Law Minister commended the lawyers for their proactive stance on the Kashmir issue and emphasized the importance of crafting a unified counter-narrative involving all key stakeholders.
They discussed the issue of the Indian Supreme Court’s decision to uphold the Modi government’s revocation of special status for the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
He said Law Ministry is committed to working collaboratively with all relevant parties to safeguard the interests of the people of Kashmir.
