Lawyer Delegation Meets Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir

MUZAFFARABAD: A delegation of lawyer representatives met with the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, to discuss pertinent legal matters and the current state of the judiciary in the region.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Azad Jammu and Kashmir, the meeting included Vice Chairman Bar Council Ashfaq Kazmi Advocate, President Mirpur Bar Shakeel-uz-Zaman Advocate, President Central Bar Nasir Masood Mughal Advocate, President Kotli Bar Chaudhry Abdul Razaq Advocate, President High Court Bar Khalid Rasheed Mughal Advocate, General Secretary Mirpur Bar Chaudhry Basharat Advocate, Chaudhry Abdul Rehman Advocate, General Secretary Supreme Court Bar Syed Mehr Ali Bukhari Advocate, Waqar Abbasi Advocate, and other legal professionals. The Most Senior Minister Colonel (Retd.) Waqar Ahmad Noor and Minister of Law Mian Abdul Waheed were also in attendance.

The delegation’s meeting with the Prime Minister aimed to address ongoing challenges faced by the legal community and to seek support for improvements in the judicial system. The presence of ministers and senior legal representatives underscored the importance of the discussions.
