Levies Force Merger into Balochistan Police Completed

Islamabad: The process of merging Levies Force into Police in Balochistan has been completed: A total of thirty-two thousand, nine hundred and forty-two Levies personnel have been successfully merged into the Balochistan Police by establishing a new administrative structure. Following this, the A and B area classifications have been completely abolished.

According to Radio Pakistan, the law and order situation in Balochistan will now fall entirely under the jurisdiction of the Police Department. The Inspector General of Balochistan Police stated that the Levies personnel joining the Police will enhance the strength of the police force.
