Lightning strike kills man in IIOJK’s Kulgam

Srinagar, July 07, 2023 (PPI-OT): A man was killed in a lightning strike in Kulgam district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). According to Kashmir Media Service, one person, identified as Abdul Hameed Khan, sustained injuries during the strike after which he was referred to the nearby hospital for treatment. Upon reaching the hospital, he was declared dead.

On the other hand, the Amarnath Yatra was temporarily suspended on twin routes of Baltal and Pahalgam due to bad weather conditions, today, as rains lashed the Kashmir Valley, officials said. Meanwhile, the 8th batch, comprising 7,010 pilgrims, today left Baghwati Nagar base camp, Jammu, towards the Valley in a cavalcade of 247 vehicles.
